Cook and Eat like a Chef

If you could learn to cook one great meal, what would it be? What is your favorite type of food? We all have to eat, right? So why not make it a pleasurable and rewarding experience? I am now teaching cooking lessons as well as cooking private dinners. So if you have been looking to “up” your kitchen game without having to go to Cooking School, and if you are tired of how easy the Food Network makes it look (anyone can cook when all of their ingredients are already chopped and in measured bowls!), I can help. I can teach you solid principles and habits that lead to successful cooking, no matter the dish or occasion. Or, if you just want to eat great food without having to cook or clean the dishes, I can do that too.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, complicated, time-consuming, or frustrating. It can be very easy, quick, and simple. Now, you can go big – would you want to make something fancy, like a Roasted Papaya stuffed with seared Tomatoes and Onions, Lime Cucumbers, and herb-marinated Beef Tenderloin? Believe me…it would be worth it.


Or you can go simple. Italian food is some of the most fun to make. It truly is all about the quality of the ingredients and using time to your advantage. How about some Chicken Saltimbocca, covered in Prosciutto and Fresh Sage in a Vermouth Lemon Butter Sauce? This dish is incredibly easy to make, and very, very amazing.

There are very few things in this world that are better than a perfect Steak. What about learning how to make  2-inch center cut Filet Mignons…perfect every time? I can teach you how to cook the Perfect Steak. No lie. Now, I’m a rare to medium rare guy, but if you fall on the “well done” side, I guess I can teach you that as well.


 And I can teach you how to make the sauces to go with it. The steak is perfect, so sauce is just if you like extra work: Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce, Soy/Maple Glaze, Pepper-crusted, Reduced Balsamic and Red Wine…


Are you a Vegetarian? Being a vegetarian doesn’t have to mean you eat boring, bland, tasteless food. How about learning to make a Sweet Potato and Black Bean Soft Tacos, a Hearty Tuscan Bean Stew, a Roasted Romaine Salad with Cheddar, Apple and Roasted Pecans, a Grapefruit and Avocado Salad with Honey and Salt, Tomato, Broccoli and Herb Risotto, Cherry Tomato and Watermelon Salad, Grilled Asparagus with Garlic Butter? Take your pick.


Or do you have a sweet tooth? I do. I LOVE dessert. How about learning to make an Italian Cream Cake? It may be the best day of your life.

Or do desserts frustrate you? Don’t you just want to have an easy, simple, great dessert to pull out in a crisis? A Devil’s Fudge Pie is the way to go.

A Key Lime Pie with handmade Cinnamon Graham Cracker Crust with Lime and Mint clotted Cream is fantastic and keeps very well in the freezer. Double bonus.

Or would you like to learn how to make mixed drinks? How about a Diamond Gin Fizz, The Original Mojito, and the best Ginger Russian ever? I can teach you how to make pair drinks with food.
