7 Day Prayer – Mission to Vietnam

Wednesday– Our Trip

  • God would receive all glory and honor in our efforts
  • Safety in traveling and ministry
  • Effectiveness in communicating the gospel

Thursday– LEC (Lighthouse Evangelical Church)

  • God would save sinners!
  • Their church plants
  • Favor with the local and state government
  • Building a meeting place for the church
  • Unity within the church
  • God would raise up leaders

Friday– Thuan and Esther Phan (Pastors of LEC)

  • Protection of their marriage
  • Safety and health for them and their two boys
  • Effective in training up disciples and leading the church
  • Favor with the locals and the city
  • Deeper walk with Jesus

Saturday– John and Christine Nguyen (House of Love: slums ministry)

  • Protection of their marriage
  • Safety and health for them and the children that live with them
  • Favor with the locals and the city
  • Strength/resources to meet the many practical needs of the people in the slums
  • Effective gospel ministry
  • Sunday- Pray for your own heart towards daily mission.
  • This trip would be formative in how I the kingdom of God globally
  • Is God calling me to full time ministry or to full time foreign missions?
  • That God would open my eyes to the mission field around me (neighbor, co-worker, friends, family)

Monday– Ho Chi Minh City

  • The church would thrive and be accepted by the government
  • Jesus’ name would be known and made famous
  • People would repent and put their hope and faith in Jesus

Tuesday– Sanctity of Life/Orphan Care

  • Pastors and churches would be educated on sanctity of life and how to protect it
  • Vietnamese adoption would be open to other countries and would thrive
  • More Christian orphanages would be established
  • Abortion industry would be disassembled and ineffective
  • Government leaders would stand up and fight for the lives of the unborn
